It's surprisingly nippy the GTi lump in yours. I got it into 3 figures quite easily but I would not want to be doing 130+ in that car!

ha ha ;) you know's it

The Silver GTI's Reg is **52 VKJ

Anyone belong to it? (not 100% on the 52)

I saw this on BBC and my heart dropped when I saw a silver lupo gti doing that................I was wondering whether I had bought it!

Thank God mines a 53 plate, I'd hate to find that sort of information out about a previous owner

I'd have to agree with that. The entire series does, especially the bit with the 2 guys getting road rage with the audi driver...

Then again if you watch any traffic coppers tv program it paints a bad picture of all drivers, I mean the police never pull you over to complement you on your driving!

Been speaking to our Sheffield based fleet insurers today. Apparently, PC Scothern is a local celebrity w*nker. I'll wait to see him on some cheap telephone vote based programme soon.

I also found a forum for Police yesterday where the wise Coppers claimed that the Lupo must've been chipped to be able to go so fast. Suspiciously, there was no mention of them not following ACPO (?) guidelines to be visible (ie not hiding behind a bush on a bend).

The copper was on a big plinth essentially and it was a straight! the guy didnt see him cos of the sunlight directly infront of him, the m180 is bad for that...
