Oil lights in low end cars are just last resort emergency you've got no oil lights. You should be checking your oil level using the dipstick in the engine, this I feel cannot be blamed on anyone but yourself - I get where your coming from with the garage, however If you've spoken to them in the way your posts suggest - calling them names and generally abusing them then I can understand them not wanting to deal with you. Though, if thats not the case, then I apologise
