It looks fantastic

I would love to do something like that to mine, but VW beat me too it.

Whats best is that you did it yourself, no silly questions. You just got on and did it, and made a bloody good job aswell. Luuuuurvly

Well done, nice mod.

Tip: Using a soldering iron works well on the rivets, means you dont have to glue it either.

thanks ;)

didnt think of that. I just used some resin that I got from work but soldering would've been easier :)

Well, this hasn't been updated in some time

had a little learner accident with a lump of concrete a few weeks ago

bye bye two steelies - blew both passenger side tyres and both wheels looked like this:

luckily I didnt have the bbs on.

So my brother-in-law Aaron got hold of two steelies for me, we got the tracking done and got it up in the air at dad's mate's garage to get a good look underneath, it seems I was very lucky and the wheels took all the impact

Recently, I've got an ipod adapter for it:

also got some yellow decals for the bbs centers:

and a new gaitor:

also gave the rooflining a clean

after:

gave the rocker cover a polish too:

general pictures from before the steels went back on:

can't wait for coilovers

Lookin good!

What did you use to clean the headlining? Mine is in dire need of a good clean.

Some good old cheapy autoglym.

Interior trim shampoo suitable for seats etc. Just did it with a couple of damp cloths

and thanks all for the replies :)
