Silver!
Nothing much to say apart form the Mintex disks and pads all round are pretty good for OEM replacements.Had a recent road trip to take TSOs mother home, so the quickest 50ish miles there and a nice 130 miles return across some fantastic roads and scenery. Here's the return route for those interested...And obviously a couple of pic's: Look no roof box!Don't ya just love empty roads? Silver!
Looking megga cool! hit a fews flies i see!ooo do i spot a dog guard?Cheers! Many flies, many, many flies!Dog guard is still in there, but I don't actually need it anymore as that's why we bought the Dune.HAIRBear: The road's not that bad and my GTi isn't actually that low. About 60mm on the coilovers and it's on 195/45 rubber. I bought it to drive so, apart from the occasional drive shaft meeting the bodywork, it's not too bad. I do get rubber meeting rear arch when I have more than 2 up due to 20mm spacers on the rear; but I do get quite a bit of bump/camber steer, which can make for fun braking, especially when heavy!Read the road and drive within one's vision: I don't get too many problems. Silver!
Well my Bathursts need refurbed as they have become dull so I have been looking of a set of wheels to put on.After umming and ahhhhing for a while I decided to go for a set of another set of Bathursts in a nifty shade. So when Ritchie's came up for sale, well I paid the man and headed south on a road trip. All home safely and waxed up they are now on, so here goes...Excuse the rain spots on the pictures, but the weather just wasn't good.
