There is a t25 grub screw in the side of the door..............dont undo it all the way but until the barrel is loose and moves...... Pull handle and then the barrel out. Very easy and takes about 5min to do if that. If going to delock properly, use the small metal disc in the hole you see when the barrel is removed.

All codes are held Ian central database they have and it even states on the code card that you can retrieve the code for free, but as you say some dealers are a pain.

You can walk into a dealer and get the code for free. You need the vin of the stereo and the reg of the car it came out of

Expect to be pulled over and fail an MOT it you retro fit HID's into reflector lenses and with not having auto levelers and headlight washers since april this year. 4300k is the OEM colour and the higher the number the bluers the colour and the more attraction to the old bill you will create. Just a warning as the 6 month grace period is due to finish in a month or two.

Look that previous head unit up and you will see it has rounded corners. You want the traditional double din which is boxy.

Just sold my keyword double din which was a nice bit of kit but Pioneer also do one. Look on eBay is you best bet.
