Koop Posted May 6, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 6, 2012 Rain stopped play so looks like polishing will be tomorrow, managed to get a fair bit done though.First a good wash - after I'd been over the window seals with one of my bargain morrisons detailing brushes - aka a toothbrush Centre cap nuts have been filled & sanded - there's still a couple of holes in the last one so there's only 3 atmRound bits of the caps that these nuts hold on got primed & painted yesterday, here's various bits drying after a going over with the wet 'n' dry this morningRear badge needed some touching up, final colour coat done nowNuts primed (giggedy)2 of the red centres were a bit rough so had to sand them back & do a few more colour coatsThe other 2 were ok so now lacqueredI've done the nuts in silver but just realised I haven't got a pic I'll get one in a bit lolWent out to polish but it was looking like rain so I managed to give her a good buffing & get a couple of pics before it startedHad to be done, I realised the other day I didn't have any pictures of the whole car in it's current state, just been taking pics of the new bits lolJust waiting for ST£FAN to come over now, he's gonna give us a hand with me headliner. Koop Posted May 8, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 8, 2012 Cheers guys Well as those who came to the CLNW meet yesterday know, the remaining material was a wee bit short for my headliner, doesn't look like my man in Thailand can get any more either Mrs Koop is delighted as she didn't want me to do the headliner anyway Still going to retrim it, probably just do it in black.
