Ah now I've gone the other way. I've never been bothered about shoes in the past but I'm finding I'm going for more wacky colours and materials.

I used to have a fair few pairs down to only 3 pairs now :( red and white AF1's , brown Puma porsches, and light blue vans..i just tend to wear £20 pump things from topman most of the time now.

These are some trainers i realy want though the back to the future ones, Nike made 1500pairs and sold them on ebay 150pairs a day for 10 days ,about 2 years ago and i came very close to blowing alot of money on some :roflmao:

I'm not sure how it started, but Piers and I had a conv. about shoes recently. seeing as I typed it up I thought I would copy it here...

Dr Martins 1961 Vintage (8 hole, black) - note the all important "Vintage" there!
Timberland Classic 2-eye deck shoes - size 9 with socks, size 8.5 without in summer
Timberland City Chukka boots - for when I need to be a growed up
Timberland Handsewn Traditional Boot
Clarks Original Wallabee boots - (black leather)
Clarks Original Wallabee shoes - (original sand suede: about my 10th pair now)
Clarks Original Desert Boots - (caramel)
Roamers Ghillie Tie desert boots - (throw back to my time in the Marines)
AKU Rock Lite GTX - walking shoes
Meindle Air Revolution - walking boots
K-Swiss trainers - had them for years, don't really do white shoes, but I kinda fell for them
Birkenstock Boston - 2 pairs for when the old feet are in need of some therapy
Birkenstock slippers
DSL55 flip flops

I also have Nike Airmax for running/fitness and Timberland sandals.

According to Liam Gallagher, over 40s shouldn't wear trainers, but as said I'm not really a trainer type of guy.

And I'm not really sure why I shared that information.
