Crusoe
there's about 10 of us in aberdeen and dundee area that would shift it way up further north but it would still be a 4 or 5 hour drive so not really worth the effort.

nfbr
Manchester style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />no... Manchester is the grey bit where all the cloud ruined the pictures...Manchester is too far west and has NOWHERE other than buildings and roads... The green pointer looks to be somewhere in stailybridge/dukinfield type area...P.S. If we had a meet anywhere higher up than southampton, the londoners wouldn't wanna go cos its too far... P.P.S. Although i still think we should stick with the law of averages to be fair on everyone Edited April 20, 2007 by nfbr

Az_zA
If we are going to be finding an area by averages, its only fair that people who are definately going to go get entered onto the map, because lets say someone at the top of scotland isnt going to come but is still on the map its going to change the averaged middle quite significantly....if you get what i mean

Adam
Newcastle sounds "alreet like", i am bit biased though. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />I think somewhere around the Leeds area, for example Harewood House where VW Festival is held, is central for everybody, although some will disagree. The thing is, you are never going to make everybody happy, but we need definite numbers before we can work out a fair central meeting place. But why should we let that spoil it for the people who go to shows all year round traveling ridiculous Mileage - I.e. the scotts!!! Insane as they are, i'm sure they'd rather travel an equal amount of time to that of a "Southampton" person, to go somewhere, than to travel yet another 8 hour drive!the map speaks fairness and justice to all...
