thinking of chopping in my gti for a z4 asap and being rather out of touch with the selling market wondered how much my gti is worth? 02 black gti 31k - im 2nd owner from new full vw service history, had the cambelt done at the 5 year interval black leather heated interior aircon 6 speed box otherwise standard and in v.good condition for its age? cheers

a female friend of mine has a mk2 clio v6 and they are lovely cars........ that "v6" on ebay is however an abomination......

02 GTi, 30k on it.......... bought it 14 months ago with 27k on it

i looked at a few absolute shitters before finding my GTi....... had to go to Reading (150+ mile round journey) to find an 02 with aircon, heated leather and 6 spped and even better just 26k on it, got £1k off the asking price too...... if you're willing to bide your time and go look at a few the ideal one will come up - id also say dont rule out ones without leather as you could let your desire for leather inadvertently make you turn down a minter without leather and buy a dog purely because you were too hung up on one aspect

same thing (recurrent migraines and dizziness) happened to my mum and it turned out to be a brain tumour style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> - id get yourself checked out at the Dr's just to be sure, especially if it all started recently out of nowhere..... i had a splitting headache on saturday night right between the eyes and still went out clubbing.....hardcore? i reckon so.....

i have the WORST sense of direction ever, for example ive lived 20ish miles from Portsmouth for 20 years now and still couldnt navigate my way to Gunwharf Quays style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />........ i have to drive and see clients quite a bit for work so ill use sat nav to get me in the vague direction and use common sense to find the actual place......... if you're boss tells you to go somewhere quickly that you've never been before, Sat Nav becomes essential as it isnt feasible to spend 5/10 mins finding the place on the map and planning a route in your mind

106 gti has roughy 126bhp/tonne compared to the lupo's 121bhp/tonne, so whilst there is barely anything in it, the 106gti should win in a straight line and round the twisties...... 16v Rallye's are brilliant cars but as said comically unreliable these days

the new Swift Sport is a very good car and considering its about £12k with everything on it its very good value too when you consider that a lupo gti was around £13.5k for a poverty speccer.... as for the new Toyota, i quite like it......boot space'll probably be ok as it will more than likely be a 2 seater like the Smart

got to be honest either the guy in the 106 wasnt trying or couldnt drive, as the 106 has more power, less weight and in all honesty having driven both handles a bit better as well style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

i live in Bognor which is literally as far south as you can go before you get wet so everyone is a northerner to me style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />....... at the end of the day its all about opinions and what some people think is a shithole, others may quite like....... for instance i personally think Bognor is the biggest shithole on earth, full of prostitutes and drug addicts but all you see is busload after busload of "tourists" coming down for a day by the seaside who may think its "charming" without having to see the shittier parts........

Luton is like hell on earth........ go to London fairly regularly to watch QPR and some parts around there are proper shitholes....although there is a massively rich part quite close to it with Porkers, Bentleys, Rollers, Ferraris in almost every driveway behind their faux wood gates
