I like both to be honest. I didn't really like the silver until i saw Payna's car and it totally changed my opinion. All the gti colours are good IMO, i wouldn't be too fussed if the spec was right. It's your choice at the end of the day.

Red! Silver is the new white, just look at all the new police cars! It used to be a very special colour but now its just the standard paint. (JMO wink.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> )

white is my favourite colour, shame you cant get lupo in white. between silver and red i would have silver. i think red is the worst colour in the world, only good for showing you when your bleeding.

I would get the best spec one you can find, as either of those colours look great. If the red is kept clean and polished it looks fantastic. The silver is a really nice colour, when you see it in the flesh and the sun is on it, it almost looks white, its really nice and bright.

Remember there are two types of silver, early ones where moon silver which are slightly greyer but can change very white in direct sun light and reflex silver which can look light blue on a clear day.

I couldn't have Grey Anthracite or Raven Blue it would be red, then black then silver.

Almost biggrin.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Raven Blue, Anthracite, Black, Red then Silver.

well erm red wink.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

a few months ago i would have definatly said buy spec over colour, but both me and luke made that mistake and now know colour is a huge decideing factor!

definatly wait till youve seen the colours in the flesh though they look really different to the photos!

Come on all you red gti owners be a little original and say blue or anthracite!! Seriously though it also depends what look you go for if your modifying it as to what colour will look best. Some colours suit the race rep look, some colours suit euro................blah blah blah

The silver and red cars in the first post of this topic look amazing lowered on their standard wheels. I sometimes wonder why I wasted money on aftermarket wheels.

Has anyone got a photo of a black Gti running very low on the standard wheels please?

That silver one at beginning of topics mine. You picture knicker. Lol

I favour the reflex silver and thats why ive had 3 so far in that colour.

Red just doesnt cut it for me at all, altho i like anthracite my next favourite
