Thanks for the fast response. Have tried the manual although it don't work : ( I have reset the head unit and still don't have 'AUX' Is the 'Menu' Button the 'Volume ' knob ?? All I get is 'SRC NAME' or 'DISP SEL' if I keep my finger on the 'Control' knob for 10 seconds. Then just goes back to STANDBY if I press the 'Control Knob' again. Pressing FM/AM toggle does not change anything in this mode : (

Bought this brand new at a local car boot. Has a front AUX socket, although reading all the manual and pressing all the buttons, I cannot see how you activate the AUX function. Currently just have on the 'SRC' CD TUNER STANDBY On the verge of karate kicking the dashboard in frustration lol. Checking Google it seems to be the 8th wonder of the world. Thanks in advance

Lost both of mine after my mechanic failed to secure them back on properly after replacing the radiator. Flash Red coloured would be awesome. CASH WAITING

Bought a pair of these front Coilovers from a fellow member (One was not leaking), although eventually got mine done under warranty, so this is surplus to requirements. Needs a new centre insert. Looking for £40 posted

Had some electrics problems back in early 2010. Turns out it was the door harness wires splitting over time and fusing together. Bought a new harness for £60 from VW. Maybe of some use to someone who needs to repair their's or use the plugs on the end £25 Posted

Hi, The alloys have no kerbing. Just water under the lacquer. (Tempted to Nitromors the rim, then hand polish the rim, although worried I may spill some on the black paint) Could you email me some pics of the Bathursts ??

Unfortunately I don't have the original wheels. It's a 5 speed with no Aircon.

Flash Red. Bought from Vindis St Ives back in Dec 02. Now has 94k on the clock. Full Service history (Dealer upto 40k). Mods are FK Coilovers, Lenso BSX Alloys with Black centres, Custom Induction kit and Uprated EBC Grooved Discs & Green stuff pads all round. All receipts & MOT's kept Tax Dec 2011 MOT March 2012. Bad Points Water has started to get under lacquer on the alloy wheels. 3rd gear syncromesh is slightly worn although unnoticeable if you change gear fully. Headlamp washer jet caps are missing after having radiator replaced and my mechanic failing to secure them back on properly. 40+ mpg and cheap Insurance. Future Classic Only selling as always wanted to tune a Diesel Golf, which I have now owned since Oct 2010. Recently had my radiator changed by a mechanic mate and driven the car for the first time at night since it was done, using the washer jets. Parked the car up and both the washer jet caps have flown off. Not impressed Any idea where you can get replacements or the part no. Thanks in advance

LOL With the alloy wheel being so cheap, I was prepared to let the seller make £10 in postage. Came in its original box as well. Offer is still there if you reduce the price

Oops sorry for the delay. Just managed to get 2 new centre plates for the Lenso's as well. Also have the original shocks/springs, Airbox and top engine plastic cover. The time has finally come after buying this cracker back in Dec 02 from Vindis St Ives with only 10k on the clock. Now nearing 93k on the clock. S3 LUP now sold and will have original Y reg plate fitted. Mods are : FK Highsport coilovers (Both front inserts replaced under warrantly recently) Lenso BSX wheels Custom made induction kit. EBC grooved front/rear discs with EBC pads all round. Wanted to keep the Thule bike racks for the new car, although can include in sale Car has Full service history with VW upto 40k, then done by non franchised garage. Virtually every receipt kept. Model is a 5 speed with no A/C. Annoying points : Lenso's have started to get water under the lacquer. (Recently purchased a brand new spare alloy wheel) Car in Excellent condition for year inside and out, running Super Unleaded for most of its life. Just had my tracking and camber sorted out after fitting the coilovers back on last Friday. My garage mate had a look at the front n/s/f caliper and the slider had ceased. Now sorted out and braking like a dream.
