Thealex
For 8000, I would get a ok golf 4 with 1.9TDI, and a shabby golf 4 with 1.8T.I would probably go for a tdi.. problem is at that price, they have very very high milage..Or maybe a earlier than 2000 mazda mx5 Edited January 10, 2012 by Thealex

Piers
Clio Trophy or 197.I agree with this. The Clio is an awesome car. As much as I dislike renaults. It depends what your after too. Id consider a Honda, s2000, integra dc2 or dc5.

Golf Mk4 TDI? What about the other £3-4000? You would get a MINT low milage one for £4k and thats only because they hold there value really well. Unless you mean an Anni'?R32 Gtst then the money left over spent tyres, suspension bits and drift days.Wont get much R32 with that money.I would get(or will probably get) a 2003 S3, 70K on the clock with RS4 rims £6.5k ish or more for a really good one.Depends on what you need the car for, I want a car that my GF doesn't mind going in for more than 5mins, that I can use every day and get 2 bikes in or 4 friends. Lupo doesn't do that very well. If it was a weekend car it would be something different.
