Hi there.

I´m Micha ... and this is the story of our ´Little BIG Lupo´ ....

Our? Well, I own a few VW´s, collected over the years, so my girlfriend needed one too.

So we bought the Lupo a few years ago.... a little daily driver.... but then....

2006

We bought a Lupo 1.4 16V, black with grey interior and only 52000 km old. OEM from an old couple.

Hmmm, not bad, but the rear bumper was broken.... so we thought a few modifications won´t hurt too much....

So we cleaned the bumpers a little, blackened the bedges, removed the sidestrips, FK coilovers and 16´ with 195/40 got their way under the car.

This was it... for the first year... a few mod´s for the daily driven Lupo.

After a long and cold winter I polished the rims and put some paint on.

The engine became some extra hp´s because I also installed a turbo kit on the 1.4 16V.

At nearly the same time a GAS airride yystem was anounced on lupoclub.de.

Always thinking about laying our Passat 3B waggon with bags... we bought the airride :-)

Not the best pics, this is how the cart looked for the rest of the year...

Ok, I´m glad you noticed not only the plates :shades:

The turbo kit is basically a 120hp TTP Turbo Technik Pietz kit with a few little modifications at the setup and the management. Together with the throttle body and the intake manifold from the GTI we got arround 145 hp on the dyno. Not too much, but lot of fun  I hope we will get a nice exhaust system under the Lupo next year.

Here are another pics with the black-polished wheels on

The Lupo is not a daily any more, but my girlfriend drives arround... why not?

The plates? Never seen my Passat :shifty:

As lupo1.0se noticed the Lupo got another wheel update the next year.

After detailing the car strictly for the first time we put in a pair of GTI Xenon headlights.

And the new rims needed some color. My girlfriends decission came fastly after two weeks of flicking through the color-cards

So the rims got a powdercoating in the colors of two pairs of her little :shades: shoe collection

Thanks

Well, these are not the same plates on those both cars. The numbers are different.

In Germany we can choose only choose the letters after the gap and the numbers at the end. The first letters (1-3) are an abbreviation of the part of the state we live. AN stands for Ansbach in Bavaria. I selected AN-AL, thats all.

The plates are private now as long as we want them, we can also drive them on the next car if we sell one.

A car sold to another part of Germany needs a new plate.
