Rich my proper car is going to be better than the lupo planned are going in place and the list of engine parts are gathering..... ;)

yes its awesome with the new seats feel more part of the car and you get more confidence from them when driving !

bit of a update went to demon tweaks up the road from me to pick this up today

its a QUAIFE ATB Helical LSD so i will be putting some good power down =]

yes it shifts soon the shift faster with the lsd!

right I've had a busy weekend this week i have removed the gear box which isn't really a easy job with a lupo gti 20v converttion so I've had to remover the down pipe and the whole subframe and steering column just need to get the diff sorted then its a rebuild job

heres the o2a gearbox thats came out

and also i whipped the steering wheel off but why ? well you will see at inters

right this is how its looking at the moment its full steam away trying to get it ready for gti inters so I'm going to be on show and shine and also on the strip as well

things to do :

finish lsd replacement

clean engine bay

hopefully get the int retrimed in time

hopfully a new 3" cat back

and rebuild the engine bay

just got under 6 weeks to do it so should be a piece of cake :P

Had to go back and read this thread from the start which im glad i did! Started off as a pretty clean tidy Lupo, but this is likely to be the best Lupo on here for me and my tastes.

Have to say if you had shown me the wheels before going on the car id have probably said NEHHH they'll never work, but somehow it does all work as one piece, unlike a lot of other who think that something different is automatically 'cool and dub' but just looks wenked out lol.

Absolute top work sir and i tippeth my hat in your general direction :shades:

thank you very much DaddyC =] i havnt finished here loads more to do i don't think i will ever stop refining the car it has come a very long way from what i began with =] nearly 5 years now

I've had this hanging round the unit for a while now being doing some custom work to it to make it fit more work than its really worth but it should finish off my engine bay quite neatly its a audi R8 coolant cap it won't fit a lupo expansion tank only fits mk4 golf upwards also I've tried a mk4 coolant bottle in the bay but it takes up way to much room and fouls the bonnet so its going to be a custom job

also ill be rebuilding the gear box with my mate mark on saturday so its full steam ahead now
