si_zr105
What sort of mileage do you get to a full tank in a Lupo GTi?
Philplop
About 180 miles til the light comes on, which costs about £32 for V-Power.Can get up to around 230 with a bit more careful driving and longer journeys.
Silver!
If you're worried about fuel consumption, don't get a GTi!It's fun to see the needle move towards the red!
Fow Vay
I get 170 / 190 miles from a full tank to the quarter mark depending on heavy my right foot is (using BP Ultimate). I drove 220 / 230 miles from Glasgow to Liverpool and used just over 3/4 of a tank. Fuel economy is superb (I had a 16v Sport before and the GTi is more economical - probably down to a combination of the 6th gear and not having to thrash it so hard). robgti
between 150-230miles depending on my driving and mods to car
L7UPO
my average is 200miles per tank even when driven a bit hard. this works out to about 34miles to the gallon. maybe if your trying to get banned, overtake at any risk and drive like a total C**k you could get that to about 30miles to the gallon.this in my mind is amazing for the performance. my old Pug 306 averaged 20 to 25 miles to the gallon but then it was a bit quicker. CasperGTI
WTF??? all these people with 200 mile tanks..... thats madness. i suppose these cars are modded?I get nearly 240miles untill the light comes on, then normally run it down to get about 270 out of a tank, when i fill up, i usually put in between 33-24 litres of v power. Philplop
Nope. From previous threads on here (there have been a few), it seems the normal average is about 180 miles to a tank. I find that sticking to 70 tends to knock it up a fair bit though. I've never managed to get under 180, but over 90% of the time I get bang on 180 miles to a tank. bossjohnc
I get anywhere between 200 and 280 usually. Lowest I've had is probably 180 to the light, highest was 401.5.
leddy
i get between 175 and 250 to a full tank of bp ultimate id say just over 200 seems about the average. after reading previous threads on it

TomLS
Hehe, if you're worred about consumption - my 1.0 gets 330 miles to a tank and that's not going gently either!
AlexS
Im horrified some people only get 180 miles to a full tank! I put £20 in usually and that gets me 160 miles, mixed driving, it see's 6k at least every other journey lol. A full tank is around 240-260 miles for me. renandstimpey
I get 230-240 mles down to the fuel light, then another 30 if I want to be daring and risk getting stuck!Seems like the red ones are not only fractionally quicker but also better fuel economy....... Well except philplop's!

minijay
I have a 2002 Volkswagen Lupo 1.0E, had her just over 2 weeks now (first car!!), and I've worked out that I'm getting 7 miles for each litre of petrol I put in. Surely this can't be right?
Lukus 9N
That's around 140-150 miles a tank, is it modified in any way?
