A few updates:

The Good:

The Golf is booked in at Revolution (Gateshead) on the 25th April to have coil overs fitted, went for the Eibach Pro Street Kit.

The Bad:

Bought a new GTI bumper (which was meant to fit any Golf) but nope, does it f**k, so Ill have to make a trip to the dealership for new front panel etc etc

The Ugly:

Bonnet catch has final given up, so had to go Hobo Style and cable tie it shut, did I mention that if the bonnet is not correctly shut, the windscreen wipers don't work!??

Starting to think the Golf is unlucky, so far I have broken/replaced:

- Front grill

- Accelerator pedal

- Windscreen

- No end of clips both interior/exterior

What a ball ache Matt. Will it be much more for the fittings to get the bumper on?

Yeah nearly £300

Should look great when its on Matt ! Nice 'in-action' shots from Helen too :P

Yeah she's getting well into it!

Nope not really, but was worth a punt, and I'm pretty sure it will at some point.

I know they are more into their Jap cars, but the new set up looks good and it was only £100 for the fitting, alignment etc etc

P.S. how did you manage to break the accelerator

The sensor failed, bought replacement from dealership for £69 then afterwards realised I could have bought the R Line version from vag parts for less.
