treblet
just out of curiosity have you ever had it on a rolling road?? and been told your bhp?? 0-60 etc???I take it you haven't looked through the last 76 pages then...It's been specifically tuned on a rolling road since John rebuilt the engine and put the aftermarket ECU in. CasperGTI
Best and consistent power I had on the rollers was 206bhp at the wheels.0-60 I'm not really sure on, in the 6's though

sherbzz6039
I did read though every page a little while back. i can confirm it does take a lifetime:PAmazing job ryan, every lupo owner i talk to i bring this up.love the little details to like the polished centre dash.Cant wait to see whats happening next!!Sherbx
Piers
To be honest John.. im surprised it isnt running quicker 0-60's than that...mine (when running well) pulls good 7's and is standard...
rjp1285
But a second is big chunk, it's like knocking a second off the 100m world record... you can't just put a supercharger in there and expect it to do supercar 0-60's

Super cars are sub 4 seconds. I was guessing this would hit good 5's.
treblet
Power is one thing, being able to put it on the road is another. Especially in a FWD car. That's part of the reason super cars have massively wide tyres and are usually RWD.
CasperGTI
Well to be honest ive never timed it to be honest, that was a total guess.Taking a FWD car in to the high 4's low 5's is quite difficult, we will see when ive rebuilt it
marcusgrant
didnt you say you kept up with a maserati when pulling away from the toll lol? sounds fast enough to me
richardn
when do people actually just go from 0-60,i bet johns is much quicker than a standard gti overall,as he will have tons more power to pull out of corners and is constantly in the powerband,id still love to have a go in that car
CasperGTI
didnt you say you kept up with a maserati when pulling away from the toll lol? sounds fast enough to me Aye, that was on the way to dubs mania 2 years ago. That was fun, although i think i could actually see the fuel gauge moving whilst doing it!John
