But a second is big chunk, it's like knocking a second off the 100m world record... you can't just put a supercharger in there and expect it to do supercar 0-60's

I've just started a thread in the new members forum so thought i'd start one in here aswell... got my first car (Black 1.4s) last week. Totally standard, 1999 with green seat stripes (hopefully one of the first things to go ) 95,000 miles. Paintwork not brilliant, quite a few scratches down both flanks, some fairly deep, and some damage to both front wings but nothing major, and easily remedied! It's off the road for the moment... mainly due to the fact i haven't passed my test yet (thats on tuesday!) and so it's sitting on my sisters drive as theres no where to keep it at mine apart from on the road... so unfortunately i can't do any work to it yet. Here she is at my house the day it was moved to my sisters, i dceided to give her her first quick polish (she really needed it) i had sort of decided not to buy anything major before i could drive, but that went out of the window when i saw the BBS RZ's bithmeister had for sale on here... i couldn't resist so snapped them up... obviously i can't put them on the loop yet so at the moment i'm just running them on the old Westwood S1300 we have down at the tennis club where i work... only other bit so far is a stubby aerial... Next on the wishlist: Coilovers are the biggies... not got mega bucks so i'm tempted by the £220 ta technixx ones. plus Lee (bithmeister) reassured me they were good enough when he sold me the wheels. get rid of bump strips (not until i've been driving for a good few weeks though haha) german plates and spruce up the interior... hopefully find a bargain set of seats out there somewhere! so nothing hugely drastic, but should make it look pretty tidy. Thanks for taking a look and i'll hopefully be able to keep updating pretty regularly! Rich.

Now then everyone, finally got around to purchasing my first car last week after eventually finding a cheap black 1.4s not a million miles away from me for sale. Had my heart set on a lupo for a long time now (after i came to terms with the fact i wasnt going to be able to afford a G-Wagen) so i'm chuffed to bits.
