I first bought some wheels...And then a new car?...MagicSwapped the mk2 and guess what for?..The end. Tallika_Fan Posted October 31, 2008 Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 Nick they're cracking to drive, as i went from a 1300 mk1 driver to a breadvan GT, stonking!The black one had 13" steelies on, which were very light, i only fitted the ronals for a few weeks, looked cool, slowed it right down! Nice and refined, comparatively. Everything accessible and easy to get to, great driving position and seating was firm yet comfy.Oh, and the Black one i fitted with a decat and hardhitter's chip from the polo forum. 85bhp at the rollers for the polo rr day in Batley. treblet Posted October 31, 2008 Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 (edited) i have a shameful car history up until the vw part... none of them are french though so its maybe ok?!first car was a rover 214si, 1.4 16v, was waaaay too quick for a first car and i ended up getting T-boned whist pulling out of a junction in it, it sadly went to the scrapyard in the sky after our 6 short months together... it looked a bit like this accept mine was greensecond car was a smart fortwo pulse (i would like to add now it wasnt actually my car it was my boss' car which he gave to me to drive). I binned that into a REALLY big ditch, so big that the entire car fitted in it without poking out over the top at all! After having it recovered i sold it to some latvians in its wrecked state and they thought they could fix it... funnily enough ive never seen it again!!!it looked like this accept in black (obviously before i binned it!) and the steering wheel was on the correct side!Third car (this is where it gets better!!) is my 1989 Golf Driver 1.6, Its off the road at the moment and has been for about 2 years but it'll make a comeback eventuallyIt still looks like thisFourth car is my lupo i have nowwhich will soon look like my sig below Edited October 31, 2008 by treblet Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Oli Posted October 31, 2008 Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 (edited) firs ever VW and second car was the 81 storm, loved them ever since and been on the lookout for another since i sold it about 4 years ago...and currently...the lupo sport (think a mates buying this off me tomorow(the mk1 scirocco (in bits in the garage, half way through a automatic/carb to manual/injection swap)the mk2, just got this last week to replace the lupo in the role of sensible daily driver, 2.0 ABF on motronic managment + a few more polos along the way, but i pretty much hate polos, so dont really take many pics of them oh, and a fiesta, an escort, and a mk2 golf estate.
