just looked at the wheels and there 6jx14's been looking at 175/50/14 just dont know if there wide enough for pslots.

Hey everyone... ive finally gotten round to getting the p-slots booked in for refirbishment... "woop woop" however im a bit stuck on what tyre size to go for. i know my p slots are 14" but what else to get i dont know.. im want to get the profile as low as possible on them aswell, just because ive got 13" std alloys on at the moment and i like the stance of the car on its coilovers, so dont want to highten it to much. so was thinking x/50 or 45/14... but im really not sure... whats everyone else running and what do you guys and galls recommend.... thanks

at the moment yes.. been on the drink for 2 days solid and now recovering..... it aways seems a good idea at the time....

no mate i never bothered claying it. ive got a friend who does deatailing as a hobby as the car really needs full paint correction as the are lots of swirls all over it... so once i get back from ibiza its getting shiny... detailing world is like my second home at the monent

well ive started work on the old p lots... unfortunatly the whole polish the face idea went out the window as there was just to much damage on to get a good enough finish. so i set about filling in the pitted areas with some good old bodge..... when i finished sanding i gave it a quick blast over with white primer so i could see what bits i missed.. then had the idea of putting the wheel up against the car so see what it would look like..... BOOOM... ive fell in love... so what do you people think... you like or do you think my finger is well and truely off the pulse of fashon??? opinions. cheers

could i borrow your car to do that mate...... lol. somehow thats slightly scares me ebay mate..... jsut search for them... where only like 13 quid delivered anyways more progress.... phase 1 is complete..... the coilovers are on. one on front 2 done how low size matters where done think i may have to remove the mudflaps.. there catching on everything.....

picked my new / used wheels yesterday...... going old skool VW rims. Mk1 Golf Gti Pirelli P Slots........ rock on thomas.... going to start refurbing them over the next couple of weeks..... not in the usual way either..... the plan is to have a black centre, black lip. and a polished surface..... going to be difficult to do, as i need to design some sort of motorised wheel spinner so that i can polish the rim... but if i pull it off.. its going to be unique.... finger crossed... just a quick question.. what the best tyre size.. they have 185 on at the moment.. was thinking of dropping it down but not sure.. oppinions>?
