They bolt on though don't they? I fitted a non GTI stubby to mine, bolted on but fit was miles out, lots of bending the plastic with a hot air gun and filing down the metal on the mounting face. I would just make the DTM ones fit. The phrase "It's only a race car" gets used ALOT where I work!! lol

I have a Dension 100 and CD retention kit, which allows you to keep the CD changer. It's pretty good. I wired the 3.5mm input into a remote socket in the center console from a Golf Mk5 GTI, never used it though. The new ones support iPhone charging I think, but I have a iPhone charge adaptor which plugs inbetween the phone and the lead which makes it charge. Look on eBay for them.

Just get a lower belt! I would never consider reusing it, the change in static tension could cause belt failure.
