picked MOO up today so i thought id post a few pictures

its a 1983 mk1 gti

its got a 2l bottom end and a rear disc beam convertion thats pretty much it =]

no real plans for it as i want it to look like it is now tbh going to clean a few things

up etc but the original owner has kepted it great condition as it is

its not a campaign but its very late before the campaign think it was built a month before the campaign models were built

so chuffed with it

I have one or two powder coated bits im selling on that i was going to use on mine but massive changes of plans have left them redundant.

i know I'm a bbs whore but i think I'm keeping it this way now and gutted he has sold it, it was one of the cleanest around

gave moo a good deep wash and wax and other bits of detailing quite happy with how it come up use colnite as its a good thick wax this time

the bonnet does requite a respray its work in progress ;)

Totally gorgeous MK1 in a rare colour (Llasa green! Yum!) and stock looking too!

Will be watching this thread thru envious eyes!
