Hi,

Ive been wanting a set of these for a while and I know there is a lot of interest in these on here. I'm in initial contact with a seller that makes these road legal pressed plates and trying to see if they would be interested in giving us a discounted group rate.

UPDATE!!!!! UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!!

IF YOU WANT PLATES I NEED TO KNOW THE FOLLOWING

HOW MANY? (PAIRS, SINGLE PLATES ETC)

YOUR PREFERENCE (DUB OR EBAY)

IF YOU WILL ONLY GO WITH YOUR PREFERENCE OR IF YOU ARE EASY EITHER WAY

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dubmeister have gave me the following prices

For 10/20 plates we make them for £32.54 per set inc delivery and vat. (Saving £5.00)

For 20+ plates we make them for £27.54 per set inc delivery and vat. (saving £10.00)

DOCUMENTS MUST BE POSTED OR EMAILED!!!!

A DISCOUNT CODE WOULD BE ISSUED AND PAYMENT MADE VIA PAYPAL OR OVER THE PHONE.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The ebay guy has gave me a price of £22.00 per pair delivered if we get 10+

NO NEED FOR DOCUMENTS.

STILL WAITING TO CONFIRM PAYMENT METHOD BUT I ASSUME IT WOULD BE VIA PAYPAL.

AS FAR AS VARIATIONS GO, I.E. WITH/WITHOUT BADGES, SQUARE PLATES AND SINGLE PLATES I AM STILL AWAITING ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS.

so the question is now who do we go with. Me personally I'm willing to go either route but may feel a bit more confident if I was pulled by the police if I had dubmeister plates.

PLEASE PUT DOWN WHICH WAY YOU WANT TO PROCEED!!!

I would be very interested, I was looking into pressed plates earlier and decided that I hadn't got the foggiest clue on where to get truely legal ones from!

P.S. you have to be a registered member to see that link.

I thought that might be the case.

Here the details.

Im in contact with Dubniesters and another, cheaper company and hopefully get a decent price on the plates.

Hopefully under £26 per pair delivered.

You are supposed to send documents so that they can confirm you are the owner of the vehicle but there may be a way around it emial/fax a copy over.

Once I have more details i'll post them but if youre interested post it here.

As long as they are fully UK Legal, I'm in. Do you know if they'll include a 'GB' logo at the side for free, or will this incur an extra cost?

rathar than sorting out a group buy and everyone having to get their documents there its probably easier to just go to a show and get them. They don't even ask for your documents there - well they didnt at UD2010

Interested, pending more info. If I dont want any GB or D on mine, just my reg, would there be the companys website or name on the plate as well? If that makes sense at all. I would just want a clean plate.

The website and postcode is what makes dubmeisters legal. Without them their illegal.

Ive got a lot of interest on uk-mkivs and i'm hoping the group buy will start on money providing that I get all the info from the suppliers. I'm gonna update the first page with all of the details.
