Sausage
No mot, knackered gearbox (which is the high value item on this car), your pricing is very optimistic.
mk2
Yeah, the gearbox is £500. Wings need replacing. Headlights relaquering. Fuel door. From what I can see so far. CAMBRIDGE REAR LIGHTS! Please break the car. I'll have the rear lights and a few other bits.
Little tank
I'm open to offers on the price. Might break if I have enough interest in parts
weslangdon
I sold a Mk1 Arosa TDI, with no rust and a sound gearbox, engine was smokey but it had an MOT for just £150 about 2 years ago. So pricey at that figure

weslangdon
I haven't lived on Tyneside for decades either but I suppose I still think of it as home
mk2
That interior's been changed... nice. It'd be a shame to break it, as it's in pretty good nick. Leather steering wheel. I'll have that too if breaking. S- spec I think, but no rear pop outs.

You have reminded me of an old joke, an American in striking up a conversation with a bloke at Durham Railway Station says "Gee that was a shithole of a town" The local replies "you'll just be passing through then" and walks off. Skezza
Lived in Durham (town) for 3 years. It's a very nice little town. Tbh, it's so nice that some residents are far too much up their own arse for their own good really.

Little tank
Breaking this now. Gearbox is knackered, 4th gear, crown something and a shaft.
mk2
Steering wheel, rear lights and cup holder please plus a few other bits.... but are you 100% sure that the gearbox isn't fixable? Fifth is the one that means you need a new box. Fourth and diff parts are easily swapped from just about any other model. I just had one of my SDI boxes rebuilt (needed it too)- I can show you pics of what needs swapping over.
