  1. 6E0 837 249 C £41.02 each inc vat from VW
  2. I have a Janspeed on mine, never found it wonky fitting though! I got lucky and seem to have one of the last with the slightly smaller, more OE sized tail pipes, the later ones are bigger I believe. Had mine fitted about 6 or so years ago now, think I paid around £320ish for a cat-back system. Love the noise, not droney or loud, just a subtle increase so you know its there. Other option is as Jacamo said, have a custom one made up, you can tailor it to how you want it then and will probably work out cheaper.
  3. 6N0 857 538 GRU should be 150mm £34.44 inc vat from VW
  4. It doesn't even go into ETKA, so I'd imagine it's been obsolete from VW for well over 10 years!
  5. There are a few listed here VW Lupo Spoilers - VW Spoilers - Spoilers | Car Web Shop (madmotors.co.uk)
  6. 6X0 071 645 9AX according to the very old accessories catalogue I have here at work
  7. Nope, this is another GTI being converted, I know the owner, he used to work for the VW/Audi group I still work for. I bought some front GTI callipers for £30 off him before Christmas. He will get this finished though. I believe his original engine blew up, so he took the car off the road, it was previously written off as it had the interior stolen from it, so he's already 'rescued' it once before!
  8. I was told its because the roots of this engine are in rallying where it would idle higher, whether hot or cold. Mines always done it from day 1, never really been a problem as it's fine once it's done a few miles.....
  9. No worries, I have a spare GTI steering wheel I should send to Royal to get done, I think they quoted me around £220ish about a year back so I should get it done really!
  10. How much would you want for the re-trimmed flat bottom steering wheel?
  11. The only VW place in the whole of the UK that is showing stock is TPS Leeds, 0844 848 6200. They are only showing 1 though
  12. Thanks for the info, as you say, they are expensive but do look amazing! One day.....
  13. I've seen those mats in a lot of Japanese VW's, where did you get them from?
  14. If you get the single-din vw cd player that sits underneath the standard radio, you can connect another input into the back of that and switch between the single cd and whatever is plugged in. When I first got my gti, I did this but had a VW 6-disc changer in the boot, so if you were to get either an aux in or a Bluetooth module that plugs into the radio where a cd player would plug in, you can have it all!
  15. Why would you solder to the board when you can buy a AUX in adaptor that plugs in the back of the radio off the shelf?
  16. One of my future jobs to do
  17. What tyres are you running on the Up GTI alloys? I want to try this as well, but not sure on tyre size on a lowered car. My Up gti runs 195 40 17 tyres
  18. The only sensor on the bootlock is the one that shows when it's open on the dash, so I'd imagine the alarm takes information from the same place. Could be a Convenience ECU issue, maybe see if any faults come up on a fault reader
  19. Heritage can only get parts that have the letter 'c' next to them on ETKA, this signifies they are a 'classic' part. Not all obsolete parts are made 'classic' parts by VW, is all a supply and demand thing.
  20. O/S window motor is 6X0 959 801 B N/S window motor is 6X0 959 802 B The motors fit all Lupo's, it's the regulators that are GTI/3L specific GTI N/S/F regulator - 6E0 837 461 B, obsolete from VW, not showing as a classic part either GTI O/S/F regulator - 6E0 837 462 B, showing as available in Germany to order Neither come with motors
  21. 6X0 947 569 is obsolete and VW UK aren't showing any in stock, however it is showing as a Heritage part, so you can get one via VW Heritage based in Shoreham https://classic.heritagepartscentre.com/ Type the part number into the search section and they are able to order one. They can do this for any part that is showing as being a VW Classic part, signified with the letter 'c' next to the part on ETKA. I managed to get a genuine GTI radiator grille from there last year, took around a month to arrive, but was cheaper than the original VW price!
  22. Both the switches on the driver's side are the same, and the passenger side has different connections.
  23. OE shock - £101.21 inc vat 4+ Shock - £63.56 inc vat, but only to be used in pairs
  24. Send me a pm with the radio serial number and vehicle chassis number and I'll see what I can do
