Ashh
Insurance really pisses me off.Last year i paid £4009 on my 1.4 75bhp Lupo. YES FOUR THOUSAND POUNDS. ON A MULTICAR POLICY.Got my renewal through from admiral, £2000 odd pound, not including my modifications. Obviously i was excited about this, chuffed.Just did a quick quote on compare the meerkat... £1896 with all mods declared? with admiral.EXPLAIN TO ME WHY ITS CHEAPER WITH COILOVERS? I hate insurance. its all a scam set out to mug off younger drivers like myself. Pretty much proven with a more expensive quote for a standard car? cheaper with a modified? Think i'll be phoning them on my day off and taking them up on their wonderful offer and questioning their motives behind my quotes though!

joshuaar
nope, wouldn't mention the renewal quote. just take out the cheaper policy. probably offering a cheaper price as an introductory offer thats why its always worth checking comparison sites

Arosam
Insurance is ridiculous - there's no way of knowing what's going to be cheaperI was always under the assumption that saying I kept in in the garage would make it a lot cheaper, so I did this with all my quotes- but I just had a look out curiousity to see what the price difference would be if I said I kept it on the street, and it was actually £500 cheaper, yes CHEAPER!! to keep it on the street rather than the garage :wtf:
Koop
Blimey. I checked if there'd be any difference if I got a garage for mine & they said it was no different - I thought that was mental
