Dec Posted January 13, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) get this back alive then, Bought a house in novemeber so havnt done anything like what i wanted to do to the car but the house is about ready to let out now so had a good couple of days on the car Put a few bits on the engineThen Some new bottlesFew Blue BitsThen we actually managed to fit the engine in today but i took no photos, will get a laod tomorro tho cant believe how well these two days have gone and i actually feel iv got time to do a few mods before UD now Just one quick photo by arrosabinns at the end of the eveningWill get some propper photos for a decent update tomoroo and im also gonna decide what things im ordering to get it how i want it So far the list is -replace every bolt visable in the bay one by one with newNew Front disc maybe 288mk 5 or 6 steering wheelNew boot handle if Truepaintworks can fit me in before UD Edited January 13, 2012 by Dec Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've gone down a similar route to you, though not took the engine completely out. Front end is off as most of the back part of the bay is clean. Having all my metal brackets, engine mounts, fuse holder etc all painted with chromed bolts. Dec Posted January 15, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 15, 2012 Right grabbed a few piks today and quite happy as car is running again, Replaced a few of the visable bolts and noted the sizes im in need ofFilled both the coolant and washer bottle with blue liquids hopefuly to try n match the rims lol bit cheesy but atleast im trying!Still gota source some blue pipe connectors for the induction to replace the red and fully polish the pipework along with detail the whole bay better but its getting there.Iv also swapped to the BMC off my black gtiAnyway heres some piks -Standard Exhaust manifold painted blackAnd a clean painted arch Cant wait to improve it comments welcome Dec Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
