LupeCeeJay
Ok to make it short, i live in a area where theres lots of hills, and when it comes to going up them in my 1.0 lupo it doesnt pull and starts to drop speed unless i over rev it in a really low gear. Any ideas how i can increase the power out put or the torque
Deadmetal
Buy a sport or gti.Moding a 1.0 is very expensive for very little power gains.
Cannonball
Change down a gear and use the gearbox and dont worry about engine revsHas it got bigger wheels on ? That could make it slightly worse

Defcon5
You arent causing any problems whatsoever by using all the rev range. Embrace the higher revs!
LupeCeeJay
Dw i dont intend to majorly modify my lupo ... I have got plans to drop a 1.4 sport engine next year but im just looking for a resolution for the moment. Defcon5 i dont mind the revs but i mind the cars trialing behind mine
RuthW
My 1.0 climbs hills no bother, with very little gear change but I tend to get the speed up before hitting the hill thoughJust change down a gear and put the foot down! Keeping within speed limits though
shaunsprules
I have this problem but I just stick to what the car can do and piss everyone eles off
Koop
I had this problem in 2 of my previous cars, turned out it was due to a common fault known as 'having a 1 litre engine'. True story.
Silver!
Cherish the 1.0...50bhp, fully loaded at 670m by Ray Crabb, on FlickrTwo adults, 35kg dog and camping kit for a week; no problem.

Cannonball
The dog was attached to ropes and pulled you up like a sledge ?
H3NRY
My 1.0 eats up the hills in fifth. Apparently a re-map increases the low-end torque and makes it more 'drivable' but is it worth it?
