When you've got a mate who builds racing cars who's offered to do it for free why bother? haha ;)

Yeah it's the tools I'm short on really, the most I'd done on a car before I got the first loop was replaced a bracket for the cooling system on me old AX, which involved 2 bolts & a hose clip so I only needed a screwdriver

Correct, I now have 2 wind deflectors, was rolling with just the driver's side for a while as I couldn't get the passenger window open  So my window might still not be fixed but at least I have some symmetry now, every cloud an all that haha

Team Heko, widely reported as the bestest, they have sticky bits on em & some brackets to push up into the channel to hold em securely (which I haven't got round to doing yet lol)

Wheel bombing complete - didn't get the total coverage I originally planned but sod it, gotta get the buggers on before I run out of summer  One's had a couple of coats of lacquer...

...at which point I ran out of lacquer. I wasn't going to do them all tonight anyway with the ever present threat of rain. I've had too much experience of running a full set of wheels inside mid-paintjob cos it's started raining

Grand plan was to get the tyres on saturday but Mrs Koop needs taking to the trafford centre to get her dad's birthday prezzie so that's out, spoke to my mate at Ginetta though & he's gonna show me how to put tyres on on Monday & leave me to do them while he puts the coilies on so that should be interesting...especially as 2 of them are going to be stretched, nothing like jumping in at the deep end eh :thumbsup:

Gave the coilies a bit of a clean too, just brushed em off with a wire brush really, gonna strip & grease them over the weekend

Exciting times

Lows for Koop :D winning at last my friend haha.

I've just thought, I bought my coilies second hand in December, and didn't grease them when I put them on. Are the chances of them being ceased quite high?

I have no experience but it couldn't hurt to remove, strip, grease, reassemble & reattach them. Long weekend, plenty of time
