IDGM
I'm on the basic M package without Telly, but the 10meg is reliable & good value. Thinking of getting the V+ box on M+ for an extra £5.50 though.

nfbr
No way! My local exchange is about 200 yards as the crow flies, probably about 400 yards in cable length

one litre wonder ;)
Are you sure those dodgy weedjies aren't stealing it?Hahaaaaits just shockingly unreliable, like right now its showing as this yet come day time its running that slow id be better going back to 56k lol! that as well as BT are bad for throttling people broadband here as because the villages phone network has never been upgraded and its still the same exchange yet they have built like 100 new house in the area they cant cope with the data flow going through the exchange. nfbr
Sky just changed their minds... It's upto 20Mb now, not 8Mb. Still pretty good for the money though.
Silver!
I think some of you are confusing Mb with MBOne megabit equals 0.125 megabytes.
nfbr
I think some of you are confusing Mb with MBOne megabit equals 0.125 megabytes.Correct.Internets are measured in Kilobits and Megabits per second, Not KiloBytes and MegaBytes per second!! jackthewelshman
I get crappy unreliable internet as a punishment for living in S.WalesThis is my average or above average speed. Still, better than some can get.If people want to know how to work out they're megabits from their megabytes - 8Mb = 1MB, just divide Mb by 8 to convert to MB (there are 8 bits in a byte). Unheard
Faster upload is way more important to me than the fastest download so i change my router settings to get best upload. If i don't do that i get about 7Mbps but the upload drops below 1Mbps.Its really quite good seeing as we are on a very long line.
