treblet Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 For all those who are planning to drive down from the Glasgow area I have some information for you.The convoy will be leaving Glasgow at 10am on the Saturday morning from the services at Hamilton on the M74, if everyone could be there for about 9.45am we'll sort out walkie talkies ect and then get on the road for 10am.Anyone who is coming from the North... like me, drop me a PM with where you are and I'll try to meet up with you on the way down.For all those South of Glasgow who won't be meeting us at the services but still wish to join the convoy please also send me a PM and I'll try to sort out some stops at reasonable intervals so you can pick up the convoy too. I think we should be ok up to 1/4 tank but keep it low to be sure or you might be doing some driving around to burn it off lol.This is a mega pain in the rear, looks like I'll need to be stopping for £10 worth of petrol the whole way down to keep it low! kenzie Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 This is a mega pain in the rear, looks like I'll need to be stopping for £10 worth of petrol the whole way down to keep it low!Fill up at Southwaite services, that should make you arrive just on the light, well, depending on how you drive down.
