I have millions of keyrings!

I generally alternate between my Seat ones though

I have two Seat ones, the same as your VW one, Red rubber with a white S on it.

BTW, some key cutters can cut a key from a picture, so im not sure if its safe posting up the picture of your key :) You might want to blurr your key or something?

Edit: GTi and no RCL? ;)

All my keys are on 5mm accesory cord tide off with a nice tight double fishermans bend.

The reasons are:

1. minimal clutter in pocket

2. no horrible dangly bits in the car

3. so I can clip them safely into either my waterproof or sack when I'm climbing or hillwalking.

Purple cord are my main keys, black with purple/silver cord for use by TSO.

The key to the loop is on the same keyring as when I bought the loop - VW keyring with the dealership name & address on the back.

My front door keys are on a little metal keyring that Mum & Dad bought me on holiday a few years back, with a VW logo etched into it. Fairly weighty keyring really.

The office keys are on a freebie keyring I got when I gave blood - has my blood group on it and the phone number for the blood service on it.

The keys to the old office are just on a ring with nothing else attached - gotta give them back on Tuesday as the lease runs out next week.

I thought all mk1's had them? If not i am lucky! I love waching all the over students fiddle with the lock, when i only have to press a button!

Hope there not too bad for the barrel, they were gifts and i dont like hurting peoples feelings!

Nope i dont think many do! Your lucky!

Yes i also like just pressing the button, having to put the key in the door is a right pain, not to mention you risk scratching the paint! ;)

I used to have metal keyrings on mine, although after reading about how heavy keys damage the barrel i took them off. Although the constanct clanging when going ver bumps was enough to remove them :P

Someone should buy this one...

eBay Link

Its an SDi! I wonder if it does more MPG than my TDI
