Putney Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 My new lens came today Is that the equivalant L series lens?I dropped my 24-70 L series last week... Had to claim on the 'OME' insurance..... Got a new one coming from Jessops.... I loved the sharpness however on a cropped body it was not really wide enough.... Muska Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 (edited) It is yes, one of Nikon's newest, designed for a FF sensor. 24mm is not too bad on my 1.6x cropped sensor but as you say, a 17-70mm would be great. I'm hoping to make the move to FF in the next 12months.What proof exactly did you have to supply for the home insurance...?!it's a faux HDR, i tried to be reserved with it though and only bring out a little shadow detail.
