  1. Insurance > MOT > Tax. Can't argue for £300 mate. What's the plans with it?
  2. Do it, you won't notice a difference.
  3. That's pretty funky - how long does it last? I usually take a "flower shower" portable sprayer and another container of water but the pressure isn't all that great.
  4. Love the details on that mate, how the top flows with the shape of the seats and fits in on the sides. Top, top work!
  5. Nor me. Used to look at the old section all the time but this new one is pants.
  6. Nice to have another local! Sounds like you had a good deal too.
  7. MTB and road biking for me. My 2011 Camber Comp and classic 1999 FSR XC: And my 2011 Secteur
  8. How did this not go down well? I didn't make it to E38 but this is easily one of the best on the scene at the moment and you've got to be proud of everything that you've done.
  9. Excuse my ignorance but is there some sort of prohibition on photography in that area? I'm confused as to whst the fine is for.
  10. Lovely silver lupo near Bedwas and a white gti in llanbradach. Anyone on here?
  11. Here's a few cars I've detailed in the past Lots more on my detailing page Detailed by Huw Pugh on Facebook
  12. Anyone have any other thoughts. I need to sort it before an MOT which I need before the weekend.
  13. I'm pretty sure it's clipped in but I'll double check. When I say I pulled the cable, I unhooked it the end off the handle and then pulled it as it would to open the door. There was a lot of pull in it but it recoiled back so the cable can't be broken.
  14. After refitting the interior the drivers interior door handle doesn't work. I've taken the upper door card back off and pulled the cable manually but it still doesnt release the latch mechanism. The exterior handle works fine. Any thoughts?
  15. If you're talking the black plastic terminal box, then it's just 2 bolts either side holding it to the bracket. You might need to undo one of the cables entering the box to get to one of the bolts though. The box on top of the bracket should just unclip from the back and the bracket itself is held on with 3 bolts. It's a doddle.
  16. I've done a couple when I was younger. Cycling was always my favourite part so that's where I would put in maximum effort to try and build myself a buffer as I'd no doubt lose out on time in the running.
  17. If you use the search function there's a few people who have done it. Some have installed a switch in the dash, others (and this is my preference) have used an Audi A8 switch.
  18. Yeah that's Plush Automotives. Lovely lovely car.
  19. This! Definitely wait for the 2013 models to come out. If it were me, I'd be looking at a full suspension with a lock out rear shock too - best of all worlds. If you use it for commuting too, get some semi-slick tyres for the road use then swap to the knobblies for the weekend trail use.

TPFT these days just isn't worth it. Years ago there used to be decent savings to be had and depending on the car you could take a gamble going TPFT. Now though the premiums aren't far apart and it's not worth the gamble. I've had some quotes come back more expensive going TPFT than FC.
  21. The TwoITwenty one is great but the rear one looks a little out of place. The car looks great though mate and I think Piers is talking sense.
  22. You can also use a stanley blade to cut the lettering off then just a fine sand to smooth the imperfections left. Looking tip top as always mate.
  23. And that's what makes it one of the best cars on the show scene.
