  1. i just use atf (automatic transmission fluid) in mine
  2. personally i think that the zipwax and turtle wax products aren't the best quality, but it all depends on what kind of finish you are wanting to achieve. Meguiars and Autoglym are both stocked by halfords, poorboys are a lot more of a quality product, but you do pay abit more for these products. Autoglym is a top quality product and you can buy a starter kit with all you need to get going for around £74.00, which i know sounds a lot but if your serious about making your car look really amazing and will last you a good few years. what you could do is buy some of the Autoglym products and try them and see if you like them, then if you do and enjoy the polishing then take the plunge and buy the kit. here is a good place to buy all your car cleaning products http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/ and the polishing kit mentioned above is http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/complete-detailing-kits/autoglym-concours-collection-kit/prod_933.html if this is abit expensive then try some of the Meguiars products as they are abit cheaper but still as good, i use a lot of there stuff combined with poorboys products. heres the link to all meguiars products http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewBrand&brandId=14 and the link too the poorboys products http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewBrand&brandId=18 hope this helped

    Straight pipe?

When I had my straight through system built I had another silencer made to replace the cat if I wanted to remove it, I tried it for a couple of months and because there was no back pressure in the exhaust I did notice a drop in fuel economy and maybe a slight drop in performance, now I have my cat back in its better on fuel and abit more power on hills. It is also a better sound with the cat in. I know of cutting the rear silence out because when mine was done, the guy who did it said it was abit weird that there were two silencers. I borrowed a cone filter of a friend for about 2 weeks and combined with my exhaust it was abit too load for my liking, so you could try a filter first and see what you think before you spend a lot more on an exhaust
  4. i had exactly the same problem with a non genuine pack, drove it 2 miles and light came on with "Ignition Coil 'A' Primary/ Secondary Circuit" and Ignition Coil 'B' Primary/ Secondary Circuit" bought a genuine one off lupoboz on here and its never missed a beat since

    Straight pipe?

i have a straight through system on mine, it was custom made so when it came to the guy asking me how load, i told him to pack the silencers as much a humanly possible, so it doesn't sound chavvy as all, you would think it would be load on the motorway but actually mines really quiet but i have heard that putting a good filter on gets a good tone from the engine without the price of a s/steel exhaust
  6. two small flat blade screwdrivers and work it loose, then either small pair of snipe nose pliers or good pair of tweezers
  7. im only guessing but it could be the connector for optional fog lights, i went looking for this a couple of weeks back and had no luck, but that had 2 wires. dont hold me to it though haha
  8. no, the arosas MK2 are H7 for dipped and H3 for mains
  9. i have a JVC KW-R400, really good, front usb and aux for connecting/ phones or iPods. and a rear aux for hidden iPod cables etc. easy to use and looks good. bad point is the front does not detach but apart from that great radio

    fuel problems

ahh cheers, but would that not cause problems all the time? i was thinking that it might be the fuel filter as i have no record of it being changed but that's my only guess

    fuel problems

not long after, like 10 mins of carful driving. still registers 1/8th of a tank of fuel still in
  14. hi all, when the fuel light comes on and i don't put any fuel in, the car starts to cough and bunny hops at junctions. also if i leave it ticking over it cuts out after about 5 mins and then i struggle to start it again. does anyone know why its doing this? im just keeping the car topped up at the moment but i would like to solve this as i would like the car to be reliable if i am too far from a fuel station. any help much appreciated cheers
