Also if i open the drivers door the interior light doesnt come on, but it does when i open the passenger door.It must be the door sensor gone caput in the drivers door, anyone have a part number for this ? and a price il just fit it myself. Thanks everyone

RobG
as would i and i dont even know what it says! how can i do this! hahahaRoughly translated it means Attention! You have left your headlights on! (How do I know this? I asked babelfish to translate the phrase into german for me, which means the grammar is probably awful)And as for doing it, I guess if you got yourself some sort of playback device that could play on receiving a pulse from the warning circuit, same as the buzzer sounds now, you could set it up to play back any recorded message. Kind of like those keychain things that will record a 20 second memo at the push of a button...
Tallika_Fan
Going slightly off topic, the buzzer isn't the nicest, would it be possible to use one from another marque. like the piiing - piiing one from the higher end cars?also, anyone know where it's located in the car itself?Cheers Edited July 25, 2007 by Tallika_Fan

RobG
mine doesnt do that, is it supposed to? how long does it take to lock?I think what's supposed to happen is if you unlock the car, but don't open the door, the doors will lock themselves again after about 20-30 seconds. My SO's Jimny does this as well, which is useful if you accidentally trigger the rcl.

Clairey Fairy
Im starting to agree with Picola - as much as i need it (3 times sinse my 1st thread ive left work in the pi55ing rain to find snowy completely deadid) i dont really wana fork out that money just for a demended horn thing. (Speciallly trying to fund 2 horses at the same time, one of which i swear eats money for a living)If the buzzer was in a german accent however...that might be different style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
