DustySEAT
Hey everyone. I'd love to see pics and your tips on where to start to make my arosa look better and maybe even state the rough cost to do that mod. I'd really like to fit that center exhaust. Welcome, it would be good to have a read through members cars and really explore topics on the site. It's a real wealth of information that really gets overlooked. There are so many mods that it's kind of difficult to summarise them. Nevertheless, some common ones seem to be: Cambridge Rear Lights OEM Mudflaps Rear wiper delete Front fog light retrofit Aero wipers Silver indicator bulbs GTI Steering wheel / Alternative Painting the interior removable pieces Different seats Lowering (Even if just springs) Wheels Painting/wrapping roof black was popular at one point Painting the insides of the VW emblems Rear pop-out windows Smoothing bumper(s) (subjective this really) I'm not bothering with costs because it's subjective and with a bit of time / patience you can get most of the above for peanuts. Start a members car thread and add some pictures. Lets go from there.

mk2
does anybody ever do any engineering these days? not bolt on, stick on, remove, add, unscrew, peel, polish, plug-in ... but real chop, weld, grind, drill, sew, glue, cast, form etc...? danno
@mk2 I think I'm doing a bit engineering. Keeping it secret for now though.

(to match my wheels) I’m quite low already... I grind on speed bumps I need to sort my interior, but kids. And @danno has some Cambridge lights that I think should definitely go on my car. I think that if you just start small it’s good, I’ve been on a year now and I’ve only just managed to get some nice wheels! I’m hoping to have it a bit more exciting for vw fest this year.. but it’s all down to money. good luck though to everyone who’s doing stuf! I’m sure you’ll all do just fine ?
