Ahh I see.

Can look awesome for shows but might be gash for everyday use.

Not sure yet, only had it for a day, just needs. Little more work done to it(:

That looks pretty cool. They must be called something else in the VW world. As I only found Jap pic's.

I'm getting one done, what people do is drill a hole in the bottom to allow water to flow back out. They are also known as "Boso" style, just normally boso is a lot more extreme.

Yeah I drilled a 3mm hole for rain(: they look really different and turn heads..(:

ive been thinking of doing this, my mate did it on his MK3 polo (with straight through pipe) it was loud and looked awesome :)

you just get a bit of pipe and bend & weld/clamp it to the existing exhaust?

i just Google "up swept exhaust golf" and there was a few. maybe try that?

i wanted one of these on my lupo, but never got it done!

Got some inch and a half piping, bent in, tack welded so you could move it about and get the right angle, then just weld it right up. And I had to jack my car right up to drill the hole.. :D
