should i declare coilovers on my fox

Why did you need to ask the nation?

No if you want to risk getting fined, points and you car being technically un insured. Yes if your honest, want your car to be correctly insured, covered in the event of a crash and don't want hassle off the police

Perhaps his mates told him not to bother & he thought he'd see if the internet had someone with braincells who could offer an opinion ;)

He asked, he got advice. Give him a break, we've all been there, or somewhere similar.

Best have a look around the VW forums and get an idea of what style you like.

5 x 100 means you get to choose from the newer range. BBS RWs from a Polo Dune may look good.

7.5" means they'll fill the arches too.

Good call, they're the 17x7.5 ones aren't they, they'd look tidy on a Fox. Loads of choice of OEM wheels in 5x100.
