  1. lol slammed! What's it like without the anti-roll bar? Must handle like a bag of dicks
  2. Nice! How low is that? Have you notched the chassis? Can't get mine any lower otherwise things will start rubbing!
  3. I'm looking into getting them sprayed gloss black! We'll see after payday will get them done though, you're right, she would look better

  5. Sorry for the bad photo, iPhones shitty camera. Thought it looked good here so I took a pic
  6. All at the top of the post buddy.
  7. Removed the helpers today! Not much of a drop if I'm honest, but it's decent. This is as low as I can drop it now as the wishbones will start rubbing on the driveshaft as well as the sump being pretty low to the ground now. 15mm Spacers on the rear within the next couple of weeks though
  8. Thanks! I've had it for a year and 1 month
  9. Have a look at my thread pal, might give you an idea as to what you want.
  10. Check out my other topic "My Fox" for a full list of mods and with the new wheels on the car. http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/94160-my-fox/
  11. Thanks! Removing the front helpers and rear adjusters within the next couple of weeks, so it should sit a bit lower

  13. Getting my tyres for the wheels tomorrow lads, pictures will be posted when they're on I've gone for 195/40s since the low profile looks sick on BBS's
  14. How much did removing the helper springs lower the car? Did it ruin the ride at all? Would like to know, thanks
  15. Right, did removing the helpers drop it a lot for you? Nah, cutting coils is not a good idea imo.
  16. Cool thanks. How much will the adjusters lower it? 10mm?
  17. I've actually heard that if they're fully compressed all the time, and you remove them, it improves the ride. Not as stiff.
  18. Hmm, doesn't sound good. What about adjusters? Are they alright to take out?
  19. Cool, do you have any pics? Would like to see. Which one do you think should be removed first?
  20. Nah, they will. Taking the helper spring out when I've fitted the wheels which will drop it another inch. Should sit just perfectly.
  21. 16x7 nah i think you're wrong 18s are way too big. Even 17s are pushing it. 16s are perfect to drop it enough and give it the euro look.
  22. I think 16s would look best on the Fox as you can drop it lower, and the car generally won't look as high. I think they're perfect.
  23. Should be getting tyres at the end of this month. Was stuck on whether to get 165/40s and just go for some mega stretch or just go with 195/40s. Decided to go with 195/40s as I love how nimble and agile the car has become since I've fitted coilovers; super stretched tyres wouldn't allow me to do that, as I've been told. Plus, I think 195s will give it a nice look from behind. low and wide lol.
  24. This is what it looks like atm. As you can see it could definitely do with more lows. I think removing the helper spring should set it nicely on 16s.
