need to swap the gearboxes over asap, new clutch, disks, pads, exhaust. Then comes the tuning and performance ugrades, as well as some body modifications... never have been a fan of center exhausts ;)

have had a right mental weekend. turns out removing a gearbox from this silly old car was more trouble than i expected! haha

hopefully will get the new one back in this week without any issues and get the car back on the road!

anyway, gearbox is off, and new clutch is on. so next up is to swap all the bits from the old gearbox onto the new one and then fit it all back together!

fun week ahead!

haha! I like the no spoiler look... which is good because i dont have the money to buy one! haha

the gti standard spoiler is too small for me, if im going to bother it will have to be something bigger!

it is pretty Rapey! but then its my car... both my cars are a bit rapey! hahaha

i think The Baron is a pretty apt name to be honest!

so, he is still in the same state as above. new gearbox is fitted, but due to the current weather situation, i havent been able to work on it fully for a whole day.

So, new clutch is on, New Gearbox is fitted, all that needs to be done now is link up drive shafts, gear Linkage set up, fill the box with oil and stick the wheels back on! LOL

so hopefully NEXT weekend will see him completed! We'll see! this has now taken me 3 days to do. safe to say, unless i have a ramp and a garage, i wont be doing a gearbox change again! haha
