Koop
I'm not sure I'd buy tyres from someone who can't spell 'braking', just on principle.

Rich
I bought a set of 4x cheap Achilles off Fleabay a while back, I haven't used them on anything yet but from looking through tyre threads apparently people do rate them. Why anyone would call a tyre Achilles though it's a bit stupid. James827
I like how bridge-stones stretch. looks more natural, and they grip much better!

Rich
Apparently they won't kill you.People say they are decent tyres. One day I will be able to have my own opinion.
VolkswagenDan
He means people say they're good.Nankangs are cheap tyres which are decent for the money. But they're known as ditch finders because, well, that's what they are. They're a budget tyre. You've gotta remember tyres are the only thing between you and the ground, at 100+ miles per hour. You're talking about saving a tenner per tyre. Buy the bridgestones. You won't regret it. Trust me.
VolkswagenDan
Nonetheless, I rode on much more lethal budget tyres on my first car before so you won't die from them. It just makes sense to buy better, if you can afford it.
scotty_82
As in if you asked them what would they score them for general use in a scale of 1-10 with 1 being rapey/ditchy and 10 being F1 pit stop slick
VolkswagenDan
On the rapey scale, they're not quite jimmy saville, but fast approaching Jack the Ripper.
