craigmahoneyy
Couple of small updates finally got round to cleaning up my Bullet wheels after taking them off for winter, gave them a little polish up too Also i plan on getting a few interior bits painted, heater vents, center console etc so thought id give the smaller bits a try with a rattle can, finish is pretty bad will be done properly at some points! Also decided to take all the camo off as it clashed with the new seats and just looked so tacky! Then i got round to getting one off those chrome light switches Current winter mode
matt123roll
Looking good mate, new interior is a nice touch! Was eyeing that up myself, bargain price.Glad the camo is gone, much sleeker without it. You should look into the mk5/6 wheel upgrade, would really set the interior off. craigmahoneyy
Pretty good day today went and got some bolts for the seats! Got them fitted within about two hours, easy when the brackets are already there Look so nice but i now have a bad habit of just sitting in the car as there so comfy! Really do need to find a mk6 flat bottom to match up with them now Fitted the flocked clock cover to but think i prefer the GTI one so might switch it back at some point! (also sorry for the bad iphone photos, no excuse when i have a DSLR)
matt123roll
Much prefer the GTi binnacle, cleaner IMO which matches the look you're going for!Something like this would be right at home in there alongside a newer gear knobhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vw-flat-bottom-steering-wheel-/400625480728?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d4723b418Personally not a fan off the gloss vents, makes the light switch look tackyGreat work though dude, keep it up

I have a spare set of the vent if I wanna change back to originals anyway! That steering wheel is what I'm looking for! Trouble is trying to get it wired up as I'm not very good with that sort of thing!

craigmahoneyy
Awesome looking car mate, love it!Thanks a lot man!Wheels looking good mate. You have any more luck getting it fitted?Had a bit of trouble with it making contact with the horn all the time also couldn't full lock right think the coil had wound round a few times before we got it on but that's all sorted now and it's on, wonky but it's on haha could just get it tracked and will be aligned! Pete91
You shouldn't need to get it tracked mate. I take it you didn't put the original wheel straight when you took it off? Just take the wheel of and try straighten it up? Would be easier and cheaper than getting the alignment done
