Ok so thought it was about time I started putting my pics and updates into a build thread so here is what I have so far (not a lot but we'll see what happens lol) ...

I apologise in advance for the quality of the pics as they are pulled from different sources.

The car:

2000, Soft blue 1.4 16v

This is how the car looked when I first bought it, running TA Technix coilovers and 15" Caliber Dub rims with 165 50 Bridgestone Potenza's

The first thing I done was to remove the pig ugly vinyl wrap from the roof

Next on the agenda was to give the car and paintwork a good seeing to

Wasnt really happy with the finish so the the next day I done it all over again and a good rub down with a clay bar and a bit of T.cut to try and even out some of the paintwork...... Much better :)

I also de tangoed the front indicators but forgot to take pics.

When I removed the wrap from the roof I noticed it had been there to hide a few spots of rust down the rain gutters so need to do something about it. I wanted to get the whole roof sprayed again but couldn't do without the car while the work was being done as its my daily driver and I work in the arse end of nowhere so I decided to re wrap it. I rubbed the affected areas down with and applied some lacquer to seal the areas then took it down to my mate who has a graphics company and got him to do the business. I was originally going to go for a silver carbon wrap but at the last minute changed my mind and went for an anthracite jobbie. (glad I did tbh)

At the same time as getting the roof done I asked my mate to do me a couple of decals up for the wings..... 1942 KDF logo before the yanks came in at the end of the war and redone it as it was deemed to Nazi like

A few weeks earlier I picked up a set of these, BMW mini pepperpots knowing that they were a similar stud pattern and offset but had my heart set on painting the rims that were already on the car and just left them lying in my garage.

Trial fitted to the car but the centre bores were way way off

In the end I decided to fit them and sent them off to a local engineering outfit to get the centre's milled to fit the hub's

Back from milling and a quick clean

Then it was off to the local tyre shop to get some rubber on them. I decided I didnt want to have a stretch on them as tyres would have cost a fortune due to the fact that the new rims are only 5.5j. Went for 175/55/15 on the rear and 165/50/15 on the fronts to give a slight drag look. Also fitted 15mm spacers to the rear to give it a staggered look. I had the front raised by about an inch but plan to drop it back down again through the week

So this is where I'm at so far, will keep this thread updated as thing progress...

With regards to the mini pepperpots was it a straight fit, no need to adjust anything? considered getting these wheels but everyone ive shown has been like "they wont work" :P but they sooooo do! good work mate!

Funny how they call them pepperpots, they're more of a teledial to me. Anywho, they're 56.1 mm centre bore so they need boring out by 1 mm.
