Right so a small update from this afternoon whilst I wasn't at college. As you may have seen on the last page I received a new O/S wing mirror cap from Dale, and today I got round to fixing it. As you will see the old mirror cap was held on by bathroom sealant and not much more! The old one was extremely scuffed and had a bad crack in it. This made it more economical for me to replace it with a brand new one. And now some snaps:

So firstly, under the mirror cap

A quick clean up

And new ( this was polished twice and given two coats of titanium before going on)

And all done!

Hope you like

Right today I did a wee spot of cleaning on the car, the seats where removed along with grab handles and sunvisors, the carpets and seats where cleaned with AS G101 and a george :) The plastics where then dressed up to make it look smarter then all put back together. Heres some snaps for you all:

From the stripping down I worked out the previous owner was a lady who smoked, then made herself smell better, and then went out and spent money

And cleaned up

Reconstructed

Fairly happy with the results. Personally I'm not a fan of the seats as one has a cigarette burn :reallymad: But in time i hope to replace these with leather :)

Tomorrow I will colour sand and correct my bonnet paint to remove the stone chips I've filled in! Then saturday a big clean before my first show...Stonor Park :D:D:D

Thanks for your time :coffee:
