James827 Posted November 24, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 24, 2012 i got given a new center console today! and a nice snail horn as mine was pretty tired! also, had some alternator belt troubles, which ended in holding the alternator up with an engine crane, and tightening with a very long bar.and its still not quite putting out 14v. so i reckon the alternators on its way.. hmm. ah well,when the rain stops the snowflakes will be going on the car for winter (or till I can afford new tyres) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

James827 Posted December 4, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 4, 2012 they are 14" (65 profile) and the others were 15" (50 profile and 1" wider)i'm going to put tyres on the other ones and run then for a while until I can afford a more special wheel, until then im working out Dimensions and offsets etc for said wheels as I want it Perfectand the arches Have no Lip underneath the Trims, rotted away in a past life, but were reconstructed and then covered with said trim. so I have plenty of space to work with, I like the idea of bullet wheels, but they are a bit plain Jane, this car was once something special, but slowly got left behind and slowly got a bit scabbier and I guess a little Neglected. (in the visual sense, just needs some Lovin' )so for now, im fixing the Mechanical Flaws and Cleaning it up,coilovers and Some tasty wheels are in the Pipeline, but I need to do some Serious savingI want to like the snowflakes, but on the Big bumper golfs I think they look too small, but a Small bumper at standard height would look spot on with them.
