Now there's an offer!

For some reason this picture...

Makes me think of Montreal 2s...they would look well I feel. I'm sure you probably have enough sets of wheels already though

those above are some BBS wheels, you can see the stamp. similar ey?

cant find the name, but they are very similar, especially with center caps.

and that's what mine would be like with Center caps.

they are both exactly the same offset, width etc.

i like them they are quite 1990's IMO. but i fancy a change..

il think about it, i was gonna look out for a low miler 1.3 or something poverty spec and break what i don't need to recoup money. does it come with the RA's?

Remind me of TSW Hockenheim's from back in the day.

yes! i thought that too

hmmmm i will think about it and let you know.

but if those RA's are just going to get burned, or smacked with large hammers or just generally murdered, id happily pay Postage and more for them!

just painted up the arms on the Fuel pump as they looked a bit guff, i also painted the cam-belt cover backing plate, alternator bracket, Alternator and slam panel.

i had a go at cleaning up injector lines but its fiddly so might wait until i get them off next. might paint them black for now too.. hmm injectors Might see some paint too, i also plan to change the Braided return lines on the injectors to silicone equivalent either in Black or something clear if im feeling truly crazy. no point spending too much time cleaning up under the bonnet of this, as this time next year it will either be pop cans or a field racer! will put more effort into things like this when i get a donor shell!

yeah, well ideally, i want a complete car (so i can move it around), then ill take the engine out of the donor, clean up the bay etc, and gather some new bits up, then when MOT on this one next year runs out il plop in the GTD lump and the rest, all surplus then will be sold on :) but i hope to then own a nice clean, straight MK2 that I built!

but i wont be able to get another car till around summer due to money etc.

i hope for something like a 1.6 auto GL or something nobody wants.. standard, low miles etc with a real clean body.

theres a few im watching now, but no dollar!

All I seem to see is 1.3 & 1.6 autos you should be reet.

Changed a wheel bearing today as in an MOT check it came up with play, and as i had the bearing kit i thought i mayaswell change it.

i also noticed this too

IMG-20130412-00309_zpsfbc22f51.jpg

its its crushed in the same place on the other side too, which explains why my rear drums dont actually work, but have nearly new brake shoes!

some Plum has replaced the brake lines and put them on the top of the rear beam, and then when the car was lowered the chassis came into contact and crushed the lines! What a bummer. looks like il need two lines.

also im going to have to sort this soon..

these look like they are going to come off pretty easy.. <_<

otherwise its good to go for MOT!

might need a top mount, but will see if i can get away with that as its not too bad! and not actually making a noise.. yet
