Dad is so pleased as ppol constantly stop him to ask him about it (everyone says "what a lovely colour"). especially pleased about a female garage attendant asking him all about it the other day and if it was the model with "the silky smooth engine" lol. he never had that with his volvo, also he doesnt have to reverse in our lanes for anyone! Finally convinced your dad that it is a saftey risk having the car so high! Only about 4 8-hour days and u can afford them! But then set aside as much as £75 for the tracking afterwards. Only 189 for these look: Coilies on ebayu can drive for a while without adjustments if u get it roughly right, but not for long or your tyres will get fukd. BEP51
thats the idea, as high/low as u want. just get a quote or 2 off local garages, they only need to align the fronts as the rear is just a bar.

Wheels look to small against the arch gap.Send me shorter springs and sort out the roads and I will do it just for you
BEP51
Just had new rear pads fitted (brembo) as the last ones were dead, i also have a very irritating squeak when going straight (over bumps) or when on long left corners, i assumed it was the pads squeaking, seems not :/ it is impossible to identiy exactly where on the car it comes from, just left of me lol and slightly back. it seems to vary a bit down the length of the car, it hit me today that it must be related to my low exhaust, plan to strap it up on monday and check all the brackets are done up tightly, i think it must be twisting along the car? hopefully able to cure it cos its very annoying! also why do u need a stupid bloody key tool to push back the rear caliper? whats wrong with a g-clamp like the fronts have? stupid vw making life as difficult as possible by having so many tools!Theres my update!Looking forward to admiring Newnsie and Jabbles21's new lows nxt week! BEP51
Hehe, looking forward to it too. I have mine booked in for MOT tomorrow at 1. I think it may come close on front Pads May need changing, is it easy to do the fronts?fronts are 10 min/side, will give u a hand with them next week if necessary, pads are probs only part of your worry, when i tried your car it had no brakes at all, jake said the same, so fitting some of those would be a good start! I need to change my front pads to brembos to match the back now, cos they are soo much better i feel the rear is really slowing the car now, massive change, had to brake hard for a bluddy prius who pulled out on me doing 3rd lane motorway speeds when he was doing 56 behind a lorry i was only about 25m behind him closing quick, he looked sheepish afterwards cos his wife was yelling at him! but the rear brakes were sooo sharp the locked briefly, never had that on the rears before (on a warm quality road surface), seriously impressed! and they were only £17 quid for the rears!
