Joined a couple weeks ago whilst looking for a 1.4 S to become my daily since my lovely mk2 polo coupe s got bummed at 60 by some bell end in a festa putting me in hospital and my car in a ditch. Well, found one not too far away and seemed good for the money so here it is...will update this though I'm trying to save my pennies for my other 3 VWs. Need to get the cambelt etc done asap as well as don't think it's been done. Sorry for the crappy phone pics btw. Before I got it, paint looked well flat:After a quick clean and polish today:And here's the new wheels mid-refurb, 14" castellets I had. (everything on a budget here!)I'm aware the current wheels are gash.com/chav so they're the first thing to go..hopefully I can get some pennies for them as the tyres (195/45/15) are nearly new.All comments welcome. heartagram Posted June 13, 2008 Report Share Posted June 13, 2008 Not sure on the wheels but gotta love the neon green Lupos, lol.I usually put wheels in a bin bag and then mask the edges when they've got tyres so you don't get paint on the tyres. but I suspect you intend to change the tyres on the castellets anyway. I would love some decent coilies eventually though. Gave it a wash in the rain today but it brightened up later on so here's a couple pics taken at Clumber Park. I always get nervous when I see Pikeys in a fiesta or a corsa, steer well clear of them.I miss my Coupe Parade. By far the best car in the world. Better than your steam powered Lupo any ways.
