If you are on Club Polo. pm a guy called 'Karl'...he's local, trustworthy, and will be able to sort you out for a reasonable price. -his best mate Charlie

Yes that's the ones. Rear ones if it makes any difference.

New engine sourced as the bottom end was due to being ran with no oil! In desperate need of 2 headrests, floor mats and a stereo- cheap as possible please. The loop shall live again! Oh and no word from dickhead about the money he'd promised towards the repairs and MOT. Good job I believe in karma.

Definitley get it fixed. There's a VW/Audi/Porsche breakers in Workop who sole me loads of bits cheap. Don't sell it to any of the chancers on here, it needs to be saved! p.s. I'm a girl- I do welding, engine reuilds, gearbox changes etc..anything is possible you just need a tool kit, jack and an extra pair of hands to help you sometimes!

It'll be a 1.4 16V 75bhp.
-
Engine code please?
-
How about an AUA with a AHW gearbox? Got the same problem here.
-
Close to Derby/Notts would be good. Don't need gearbox. Needs to be an excellent runner which does not burn any oil. Cheers

I was broken down on a duel carriageway with my head under the bonnet and someone didn't see my car and hit it at 70mph.

Wow, very glad to see you are ok. Here's mine- VWs, saving lives since 2008 before after It's amazing what you can walk away from pretty much unscathed..human body is a crazy thing. The muscular injuries which are making you feel about 110 years old will get better, but get plenty of rest. Took me a good 6 months to feel back to my normal self, I still get tired easily but swimming was good for my back and shoulders. I have some cool scars too.
-
it's a nice colour, don't ruin it!! I have a (proper mk1) small bumper cabby, don't normally like clippers but yours is nice cause of the colour and wheels.
-
no that's not me I've seen that one though. update- I bummed a lexus. Teach me to have 2 jobs always rushing round. :-( Good news is I'm buying it back and fixing it as the damage is purely cosmetic bar a wishbone. I have to say a small thankyou to the scrappage scheme for providing the breaker's with an example I could erm, kind of rape...might have some money left to get the porsche wheels on. hmmm
-
Lovely to see this...same colour as mine, which I crashed on Friday. (sob) But I'm getting everything I need from a class breaker's in Worksop for a bargain price so mine should be back rockin soon too. (YAY)

They did mine in Oct '08 with no mention of service history. but they did check it with a paint depth measuring device. I got a 08 polo as a courtesy car, which I smashed up by accident. haha.

I get more like 90-100+ in my 1.4 S (75bhp) but maybe that's cause it doesn't have to work so hard to shift it's lardy ass around? (Sorry, I have unresolved issues with how flippin heavy lupo doors are, got my foot trapped OUCH)
-
Uh that's gash. Waaay too much make up as well. Drawn on eyebrows are ultimate fail...

-
